Investment Research

Adviser Edge utilises a combined qualitative and quantitative process to review projects, ensuring that all facets of the investment offering are considered. The aim of the research model is to identify projects that have strong commercial merit, relative to the expectations expressed in the offer documents provided to investors (e.g. product disclosure statement, information memorandum or prospectus).

The assessment process is rigorous and thorough, resulting in projects receiving a rating of up to five stars. The same model is applied across the agribusiness, property and structured product divisions, ensuring continuity within the ratings criteria.

The star rating corresponds to a number rating out of 100, and is measured across a number of categories. The critical areas are management, markets, production capabilities, performance assumptions, returns and fees. The qualitative component of the analytical process is important, and is aided by a compulsory annual site inspection and meetings with key management.
